Maintenance Field Service Engineer

Location: Nottingham + some UK travel to other sites

This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organisation in a Maintenance Field Service Engineer role.

Key Areas: -

  • Day to day site maintenance / servicing
  • Carry out maintenance, calibration and repair of site equipment / cold storage systems
  • F-Gas standards

The key responsibilities: -

  • Maintenance of company refrigeration systems on manufacturing or storage sites in accordance with the procedures / SOP's
  • Day to day site maintenance / servicing, calibration and repair of environmental cold storage and refrigeration systems
  • Respond to and complete emergency repairs to the installed equipment.
  • Ensure that the 'installed equipment' is operating within the defined limits and that all Planned Maintenance is completed in accordance with the schedules issued.
  • Ensure that all Emergency Service work is completed in a timely manner maintaining the safe operation of the installed equipment.
  • Ensure that all appropriate tools and equipment are maintained in a usable and safe condition in accordance with Company policy and statutory legislation.
  • Carry out of hours weekend and bank holiday emergency site visits on an on-call rota basis

Person Specification: -

  • Previous experience of working within a Cold supply chain logistics environment
  • Experience withrefrigeration systems
  • A recognised apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering is essential, with proven experience in refrigeration and site services
  • F-gas qualification is essential
