We’re working exclusively with a multi-site organisation in the service sector, currently going through an exciting period of growth. With ~£50m turnover and active expansion into new territories, they’re investing in their finance team with this brand-new hire.

The role itself:

It’s hands-on, varied and business-facing – ideal if you enjoy working across departments and being involved in improvements and change. You’ll also mentor an Assistant Financial Accountant and support a finance system implementation.

Key responsibilities:

Lead on statutory reporting, balance sheet controls, and VAT returns.
Oversee month-end close and prepare financial reporting packs.
Support audits across UK and international entities (including Denmark and Sweden).
Drive process improvements and help embed strong financial controls.
Support the implementation of Sage Intacct.
Produce cash flow forecasts and help provide commercial insight.

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified

Experienced with statutory reporting, VAT, and audits
