French Speaking Financial Controller £400-£450 Day Rate Nottinghamshire - Remote Working Available SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join our client based in Nottinghamshire on a interim basis. This business have a number of sites across the UK offering a range of services. This role reports to the General Manager. Key accountabilities: - Act as a strategic partner to the General Manager by driving company performance through clear, measurable KPIs and performance agendas. Ensure these are embedded into daily workflows. - Oversee the execution of SMART action plans, track performance, and ensure goals are met. - Partner with key business stakeholders to challenge, support, and contribute to the achievement of company objectives. - Provide actionable insights and strategic financial guidance to business leaders. - Manage the financial reporting agenda, including overseeing the P&L review process, providing commentary on results, and managing the month-end closing (MEC). - Prepare and present key financial reports, such as Management Business Review (MBR) slides, forecasts, and budgets. - Ensure financial performance is aligned with company goals, delivering accurate and timely reports. - Lead mid-scale projects, ensuring project goals are achieved and delivered within scope and timelines. - Participate in key strategic projects that impact business performance. - Develop and execute a robust Internal Control Framework The successful candidate will have the following: - Qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) nearly qualified will also be considered. - 3-7 years of relevant experience in finance, business partnering, or controlling. - Strong background in business navigation, forecasting, and budgeting. - Prior experience with reporting and driving performance management in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. - Fluent in French (written and spoken) is required - Highly agile and adaptable, capable of handling uncertainty in a fast-evolving environment. - Strong interpersonal skills with a high level of collaboration and the ability to challenge and support stakeholders effectively. - Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and grow professionally. Our client is keen to attract a commercially focused Finance professional with strong partnering skills. The role is ideally suited to a business partner seeking a step in to a financial controller position or a tenured controller used to working closely with business operations.
