Gleeson Recruitment Group are exclusively partnering with a leading UK energy and infrastructure services provider to recruit a Head of Finance for their Energy Division.
This is a high-profile, senior leadership role with responsibility for the financial strategy and performance of the Energy Division. You will report directly to the divisional leadership team and play a key role in driving growth, efficiency, and commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the divisional finance function, providing strategic insight and robust financial governance.
- Oversee reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across multiple business units.
- Partner with operational leaders to drive commercial performance and support key investment decisions.
- Ensure effective contract accounting and management of large-scale service/infrastructure contracts.
- Support compliance, risk management, and financial control across the division.
The Candidate
- Qualified finance professional (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience.
- Proven leadership skills and experience influencing at senior/executive level.
- Background in complex, multi-entity organisations, ideally in energy, utilities, or infrastructure.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience with contract accounting in large-scale projects.
- Collaborative, proactive, and motivated to contribute to the energy transition.
