Role responsibilities

  • Managing a personal tax portfolio including self-employed individuals, landlords, company directors and high-net-worth clients
  • Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant deadlines
  • Assisting with advisory projects including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and residence/domicile planning
  • Liaising with clients and HMRC to resolve queries and manage correspondence
  • Supporting senior team members with technical assignments and tax planning strategies
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and supporting their development
  • Keeping up to date with changes in tax legislation and sharing knowledge with the wider team
