We have a new career opportunity with a successful, friendly, and very approachable Accountancy firm based in North Derby, within easy reach of Ripley, Heanor and Eastwood.

If they hire someone who prefers bookkeeping work, they can focus on that, but if you want to develop / work more on accounts, tax and general accountancy, that can be offered too. Responsibilities could include:

  • Record financial transactions accurately to maintain up-to-date financial records
  • VAT returns
  • Reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate financial representation
  • Office administration duties to ensure a smooth running of client workflow
  • Completing and submitting VAT returns
  • Preparing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
  • Bookkeeping on various software’s, such as, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks
  • Preparation of Limited Company Accounts
