Job Title: BookkeeperLocation: NottinghamSalary: £28,000 - £38,000 (DOE)Type: Full-Time, Office Based

Hours: Mon - Thurs 8:30am - 5pm / Fri 8:30am - 4pm

Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their rapidly expanding accountancy firm located in Nottinghamshire. With a dedicated team of 12 professionals in the office, they are committed to providing exceptional financial services to their clients.

Responsibilities:

Record and maintain all financial transactions.
Reconcile bank statements.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and updating accounts.
Prepare and submit VAT returns.
Financial reporting, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Manage company expenses.
Maintain organised and secure financial records at all times.
Handle client queries and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

Previous experience in bookkeeping, or an AAT qualification is desirable.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a rapidly growing firm.
