The Role: Paraplanner

As a key member of the operations and planning support team, you’ll work closely with a group of Financial Advisers, providing high-quality research, analysis, and suitability reports. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, client-focused setting and takes pride in getting the detail right.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver detailed technical research across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning
  • Prepare suitability reports and recommendation packs to high compliance standards
  • Support cashflow modelling and scenario planning
  • Maintain accurate client records using leading industry software
  • Work collaboratively with advisers to fine-tune advice strategies and enhance client outcomes

What You’ll Bring

Essential:

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (Level 4 or above)
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Paraplanning role
  • Experience in a UK-based IFA or Wealth Management setting
  • Strong analytical and report-writing skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to compliance best practices

Desirable :

  • Experience with tools such as Intelligent Office, Finametrica, or FE Analytics
  • Exposure to corporate financial planning, employee benefits, or business protection
  • Familiarity with cashflow modelling platforms and financial planning software
