Full job description
We are looking for an experienced chef to join our enthusiastic team at our well-established Prestige Cocktail Bar & Restaurant in Hucknall, Nottingham. As a family ran business, we pride ourselves in our service and the quality of our fine dining culinary & beverages.
The correct candidate will be an experienced chef, who can deliver on a range of tasks including food preparation, quality cookery & presentation.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and dietary requirements
- Ensure food production quality with consistency and efficiency
- Manage food costs and minimize waste
- Create & demonstrate a positive ‘Can do’ attitude in a productive work environment
- Monitor food inventory & ingredients, update stock levels as required
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean high standard organised kitchen area
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role, minimum 12 months experience
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards
- influence an innovative & exciting menu planning
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements
- Excellent communication skills
