Macildowie are working with a well-established and forward-thinking organisation based in the heart of Nottingham client based in Nottingham to recruit two Business Development Managers. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads for others to convert. This role is not field-based, but will require a proactive approach to building business opportunities over the phone and through structured client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify, research, and qualify new business opportunities

  • Generate outbound calls to prospective clients to create leads

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders

  • Manage your pipeline effectively, ensuring accurate reporting

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure opportunities are maximised

What we're looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years' sales experience with a proven track record of success

  • Confidence and resilience when making outbound calls - you must be able to evidence a proactive approach on the phone

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills

  • A self-motivated, target-driven mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
