The successful Geotechnical Engineer will be working on site and in office on a wide variety of ground investigation projects. The position entails supervising drilling rigs, writing factual and interpretive reports, carrying out Phase 1 Desktop studies and Phase 2 investigations, soil and rock logging and groundwater and gas monitoring. Close attention to details and willingness to learn techniques is essential.

To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer role you will:
- Have a degree in geotechnical engineering, applied/engineering geology or civil engineering (with a focus on ground investigation and soil mechanics).
- Live in or near to Nottingham.
