Principal Civil Engineer - Nottingham
Location: Nottingham City Centre

We are working on behalf of a long-established, award-winning consultancy with a reputation for delivering imaginative, robust, and buildable engineering solutions across a wide range of sectors. Known for their technical excellence and proactive approach, they offer a collaborative and supportive environment where engineers can thrive.
As part of their continued growth in the East Midlands, they are now seeking a Principal Civil Engineer to help lead and develop their Civil Engineering offering in Nottingham. This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take a hands-on, leadership role in both project delivery and team development.



The Role:

  • Lead the delivery of civil engineering designs for a range of development projects, particularly in the residential sector.
  • Work closely with clients and external stakeholders, ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and review designs relating to Section 278, 38, 104 and 185 Agreements.
  • Remain engaged in design using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to the growth of the local civils team.
  • Play a key part in shaping the future direction of the team and regional presence.

  • Proven experience managing client relationships and commercial awareness.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and presentation skills.
