About the Role

As an Estate Surveyor, you will be an integral part of the team, reporting to a senior Chartered Surveyor. You’ll manage a range of property management activities, including acquisitions, disposals, and strategic planning, ensuring the portfolio is optimised for the business’s future growth. You will also have responsibility for property inspections, lease management, and overseeing retained agents for business rates appeals.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role offering exposure to a diverse property portfolio and opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support strategic property acquisitions and disposals to optimise the portfolio.
  • Conduct rolling property condition inspections to maintain high standards.
  • Manage the Group’s compounds and ensure effective use of space.
  • Liaise with security to protect vacant properties and reduce risk.
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, managing leases and rent collections.
  • Maintain accurate property records in the Qube system.
  • Supervise retained agents for business rates appeals, achieving tangible cost savings.
Candidate Requirements
  • Degree in Real Estate, Commercial Estate Management, or similar.
  • Full UK driving licence to visit sites across the UK.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Membership of RICS with at least 2 years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide and embrace a hybrid working model.
