In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping us grow - reconnecting with existing and previously dormant customer accounts, identifying new opportunities, and supporting our account managers in delivering excellent service.

What You’ll Do: SME Business Development Representative

  •  Reach out to dormant or inactive accounts to re-establish relationships and explore new opportunities.
  • Make outbound calls to potential and existing customers to promote XMA’s products and services.
  • Build relationships with customers and help convert leads into active accounts.
  • Support account managers in preparing quotes and following up with customers.
  • Keep our CRM system up to date with accurate customer and sales information.
  • Manage your sales pipeline - from first contact to closing deals.
  • Work closely with marketing and product teams to support promotional campaigns.
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client needs are met promptly.
  • Stay aware of market trends and competitor activity to support team goals.

What We’re Looking For

Essential: SME Business Development Representative

  • Confident communicator with a friendly, professional attitude.
  • Great organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable speaking with customers over the phone or by email.
  • Positive mindset, eager to learn, and proactive in taking initiative.
  • Basic IT skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualifications (GCSE or equivalent) including English and Maths.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, or sales.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems or sales processes.
  • Interest in technology or IT products.
  • Certifications or courses in business, sales, or marketing.
