CNC Turner (Setter/Operator or Operators considered)

Contek are currently recruiting for a CNC Turner to join an established company in Nottingham.

This role is a full-time, permanent position within a company that have been in business for decades offering a secure and varied role for the successful candidate.

You will be primarily working creating components for the Aerospace sector, but may also include work for other sectors such as Mining, Food or Hydraulic industries for example.

Responsibilities:

• Setting and Operating or just OperatingCNC Lathes
• Work to drawings to accurately produce components to client specs.
• Inspection of components throughout the manufacturing process.
• Work within a team or individually where required.
• Organise your workload while working methodically throughout.

Experience required:

• Proven experience as a machinist working on Lathes as a Setter or Operator
• Ideally apprenticeship served or with a good engineering foundation.
• If you come in as an Operator there will be training given to upskill you into Setting and Operating.

Hours:
This position is working the late shift which is:

Monday to Thursday
14:00 - 23:00
