We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Setter / Operator to join a busy engineering team in Nottingham. This role is ideal for someone with strong press brake experience, confident working independently on a variety of metals including stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium.

Working hour: Monday to Friday 10pm – 6am

To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter / Operator
  • Confident working with different metals (stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium)
  • Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings
  • Skilled in using measuring equipment to check accuracy
  • Flexible and reliable, able to work permanent night shifts

Within this position, you’ll also be:

  • Set and operate press brake machines safely and efficiently
  • Load programs and set tooling with minimal supervision
  • Produce quality-checked parts in line with technical drawings
  • Inspect own work using handheld measuring tools
  • Prepare completed parts for the next stage of production
  • Ensure correct quantities are completed accurately
  • Complete all associated production paperwork
