A market leading, national electrical contractors, based in Yorkshire, operating nationwide are looking to fill an exciting vacancy for an Electrical site supervisor, with aspirations to progress.


This progressive company are looking for a skilled Electrical site supervisor who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment, predominantly on large commercial installation and refurbishment projects. Working partly in the local area but also throughout the UK as business needs dictate, staying away from home with accommodation and a meal allowance provided the ideal candidate will be highly organised, efficient, calm under pressure and client-focussed, with excellent communication skills and experience in the site supervision of electrical projects

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and senior management to ensure smooth project execution
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and perform repairs or replacements
- Test electrical systems using specialized tools to ensure proper functioning
- Follow local building codes and safety regulations when performing installations or repairs
- Provide technical guidance and support to electrical team members
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used

Experience:
- Fully qualified with valid 2360 Part 1 & 2, or 2330 Level 2 & 3, 2382-18 - 18th Edition and 2391 Inspection & testing qualifications.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment

- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or similar role
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work
- Ability to read blueprints, technical diagrams, and schematics
- Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent people management, communication and teamwork abilities

- SMSTS qualification would be an advantage, but not essential.

- SSSTS qualification would be an advantage, but not essential.

- NICEIC qualified supervisor would be an advantage, but not essential.

Please note that this is a working role, with the successful applicant expected to complete manual work whilst also supervising a team of highly skilled electricians/electrical mates.

Pay: 18.00-21.50 per hour
