We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dementia Unit Manager to lead a new unit in a highly regarded care home rated as GOOD. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in supporting the elderly with dementia, as well as proven experience in leading a team and line managing nurses and senior staff. Passion for dementia care is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a new dementia unit, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulations.
- Oversee and support the nursing team and senior staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Utilize electronic care packages to maintain accurate and effective care plans.
- Collaborate with a supportive management structure to continually improve care practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
