  • We are seeking an Asset Surveyor / Reliability Engineer for a leading Facilities Management company in Nottingham due to contract growth.
  • The candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in a technical role within the FM sector, preferably in commercial environments.
  • A salary of £40,000 to £50,000 is offered for this permanent position, which requires knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems.
  • Experience with HVAC systems and relevant qualifications such as 18th Edition or FGAS are highly advantageous.
  • The role includes conducting asset reviews, advising on improvements, and collaborating with maintenance teams to solve engineering problems.

Due to contract growth, we are recruiting for a Asset Surveyor / Reliability Engineer for a leading Facilities Management company to on leading site in Nottingham.

The successful candidate will be required to carry out asset reviews of all Mechanical and Electrical systems across the site to then advise on improvement actions.  The successful candidate will have previous experience within a technical role in the FM sector within commercial environments.  Experience working with HVAC Systems is highly advantageous.

Candidates must be time served in  relevant discipline

Hours - Mon - Fri ( 8-5)

This is a permanent position based on Days

Responsibilities

  • Working with maintenance teams and applying general engineering knowledge to solve problems and form remediation plans.
  • Survey all Mechanical and Electrical systems to advise on improvements to me made across the site.
  • Present all findings to senior leadership to advise on improvements.
  • Performing tests and analysis in conjunction with shift staff and other operational teams to ensure environmental control is maintained
  • Check new systems or installations
  • Conduct routine engineering calculations
  • Monitoring, controlling and working in partnership BMS platform & bureau
  • Supporting the designation process (M&E information)
  • Providing information to contractors and out of hours operatives regarding areas currently in use
  • Represent the BSU in contract and project meetings

Skills & Attributes

  • Time Served Engineer - qualified in a Mechanical / Electrical discipline
  • 18th Edition / FGAS  qualifications are advantageous
  • Experience / qualifications working with HVAC Systems is advantageous
  • Experience in a similar Facilities Management / Building Services background
  • Previous experience in asset surveying in commercial environments.
