A leading building services company based in Nottingham who operates in industrial and commercial sectors is seeking an Electrical Estimator to be based in Nottingham.
As Estimator you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects. Ideally you will have a background in Electrical Design and build estimating.
You will be involved in as a Electrical Estimator;
- Reviewing project plans, specifications and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical installations
- You will collaborate with design teams to review and optimise system designs for cost efficiency and performance
- Analysing and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure competitiveness and accuracy
- You’ll prepare and present estimates, proposals, and bid packages to clients
- Staying up to date with industry trends, material costs and labour rates
What they are looking for in a Electrical Estimator;
- Good electrical design and build background, ideally with knowledge of electrical codes, standards and regulations
- You’ll be analytical with good organisational and problem solving skills
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and technical documents
- You will be familiar with estimating software and spreadsheets
- Able to work independently or part of a team
Benefits as an Electrical Estimator:
They offer salary circa to £45,000 plus, discretionary bonus, Contributory pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
