Position: 1:1 Teaching AssistantLocation: Nottingham Start Date: ASAP Hours: 8.30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday full time term Time Only

We are supporting a Primary school in south Nottingham that are seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a named pupil with additional needs in an inclusive and nurturing primary school.

About the Role:You will work closely with the class teacher, SENDCO, and external professionals to provide personalised support to a pupil with autism, helping them to access learning and thrive within the school environment.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing tailored 1:1 support in class and during unstructured times

  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies

  • Adapting resources and activities to suit individual needs

  • Encouraging independence and confidence

  • Liaising with staff and parents to monitor progress and well-being
