Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on heavy industrial plant and production equipment.
Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective, timely repairs.
Work on motors, VSDs (Variable Speed Drives), 3-phase systems, and safety relays as part of routine maintenance and breakdown response.
Ensure all work complies with site safety standards, regulations, and electrical legislation.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in heavy industry (concrete manufacturing, aggregates, cement, quarry or similar).
Strong understanding of motors, VSDs, 3-phase electrical systems, and safety relays.
Solid fault-finding skills on industrial electrical equipment and PLC-based systems.
Relevant electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
Ability to work independently across shifts with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Contract & Pay
Ongoing contract - outside IR35
Monday to Friday - rotating 3-shift pattern (Monday-Friday (phone number removed)
Approx. 37 per hour
