Description
The Facilities Engineer (Electrical-bias) will:
- Conduct the daily operation and maintenance of facilities, ensuring all systems function efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and resolve issues effectively.
- Manage and coordinate external contractors to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and use the BMS effectively.
- Support the implementation and completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across the premises.
- Collaborate with the Facilities Management team to improve overall operational efficiency.
Profile
A successful Facilities Engineer (Electrical-bias) should have:
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent & 18th Edition)
- Experience in maintaining and operating facility systems.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software and systems.
- The willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- A background in electrical facilities maintenance in real estate and property sector.
