Job Title: Electrical Installation Instructor (Level 2 & 3)
Location: Nottighamshire
Salary : £38,000 - £45,000
Job Type: Full-time, 35 hours.
Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Installation Instructor to deliver high-quality teaching and learning to apprentices at Level 2 and Level 3. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing and delivering both theoretical and practical content, supporting learner progress, and ensuring positive outcomes in line with awarding body standards.
Key Responsibilities:-
Develop, prepare, and deliver engaging course materials for Electrical Installation in line with awarding body requirements.

Teach both theory and practical sessions at Level 2 and Level 3.

Assess and verify apprentices' coursework, ensuring timely feedback and adherence to awarding body criteria.

Maintain accurate learner records, including attendance, punctuality, and progression.

Supervise apprentices during training activities, maintaining high standards of discipline and control.

Ensure the safety and welfare of all apprentices during training sessions.

Support learners with pastoral care, ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are upheld at all times.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge in electrical installation and related fields through continuous professional development.

Complete administrative tasks and documentation within required timeframes and to contractual standards.

Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including participation in industry events and committees.

Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or equivalent.

Proven experience teaching or training apprentices or students in a practical and/or classroom environment.

Strong understanding of awarding body standards and assessment requirements.

Excellent communication, organisational, and pastoral skills.
