Are you a hands-on, multi-skilled engineer with a passion for keeping production moving? We’re on the lookout for a Shift Engineer to join our fast-paced manufacturing site near Nottingham.
Working on a 4 on 4 off rotating shift pattern (days and nights), you’ll be the go-to engineer on shift – diagnosing, fixing, and improving a wide range of plant, machinery, and site services. From breakdowns and PPM to continuous improvement and development projects, no two days are the same!
What You’ll Do:

Carry out both mechanical and electrical maintenance (PPM & RM)

Support production with line changes and breakdown recovery

Tackle faults head-on and keep equipment running smoothly

Work safely, effectively, and independently across the site

Be part of site projects and development initiatives

3+ years in a similar maintenance role

Multi-skilled (mechanical/electrical) – trade qualified

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
-
Flexible, team-focused and calm under pressure
-
Confident working solo and taking the lead on shift
