About Our Client:
Our client is a leading UK-based renewable energy company specializing in Solar Photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery storage, and Electric Vehicle (EV) charging solutions. They are expanding their team and seeking skilled installers to contribute to their growth.
Role Overview:
The Solar PV Installer will be responsible for installing Solar PV systems across various sites. The role involves working with a team to ensure efficient and safe installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand site plans and layout drawings.
- Install Solar PV panels and mounting frames on different roof types (metal/tiled).
- Follow Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
- Work at heights to install Solar PV arrays and DC cabling.
- Collaborate with the installation team to meet project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Report site activities and provide technical advice as needed.

Essential Qualifications:
- Valid UK Driving License (maximum 3 points).
- Ability to work away from home when required.
- Previous experience in installing PV panels.
- Understanding of RAMS and safety protocols.
- Experience in leading a team and effective communication.
- Knowledge of Solar PV systems and installation on various roof types.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in job reporting and progress tracking.
- Safety training certificates or qualifications.
- Solar PV and EV installation training certificates.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 40,000.00-50,000.00 per year
