We are on the hunt for an enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic Case Management Team who has a passion for client service and willingness to embrace teamwork. This is an extremely exciting role with an opportunity for career progression.

The successful applicant will receive one to one training, and dedicated support, as part of a 3-month training plan to learn the entire skill set of a case handler.

Description:

Your role:

The Operations Department houses our dedicated Case Management Teams, Operations Support Team and advisers. These teams hold our clients hands from collating their documents ready for their mortgage and protection appointments, right through to providing advice and managing their case through to completion of the mortgage.

Your role is to assist the customer step by step, right the way through to completing their mortgage by conducting all administration tasks: obtaining relevant documents, including clients protection and GI policies, updating the client and customers system log. James Leighton stands out from other mortgage brokers by offering a continuous, personal service to customers throughout their entire mortgage journey. Consequently, its essential we maintain an exceptional level of service to build strong relationship with the client, whilst meeting the deadlines.

Day-to-day tasks:

  • Dealing with inbound and outbound calls in a polite and effective manner
  • Uploading documents and conducting quality checks on these ready for client appointments
  • Updating applications and the relevant workflows
  • Escalating any issues to management to reduce possibilities of unsatisfied clients/ customers
  • Adding on new leads
  • Liaising with lenders
  • Liaising with solicitors
  • Checking mortgage application handovers
  • Checking offer documents
  • Ensuring that our internal systems are always updated

Required knowledge, skills, and qualifications

  • Excellent inter-personal and presentation skills, with outstanding communication and listening skills and the ability to explain complex information in a clear and simple format. Alongside this, its essential you can demonstrate confidence in dealing with both inbound and outbound calls
  • Ability to work accurately with an outstanding attention to detail, whilst confidently knowing how to prioritise tasks
  • Experience in administration would be advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new software packages and online processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowing how to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with your peers
  • Able to demonstrate and evidence that they embody our Core Values
