Role Responsibilities

As a Client Manager, you’ll take the lead on a varied portfolio of limited companies, primarily in the property and healthcare sectors, including care homes and property developers. The firm does not work with sole traders or partnerships, offering a more focused client base made up of Section 1A companies and smaller limited entities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate clients, with a strong focus on accounts preparation and client delivery

  • Overseeing a team of up to 4 staff, supporting their development and workflow management

  • Reviewing accounts and basic corporation tax computations (in-depth tax handled by a dedicated team)

  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality service and prompt communication

  • Collaborating with internal departments (tax, audit, payroll, and support functions) for seamless client service

  • Supporting process improvements and contributing to the firm’s continued growth

Candidate Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in practice
  • Proven experience managing client portfolios, particularly limited companies
  • Strong background in accounts preparation with a working knowledge of corporation tax
  • Previous experience leading or mentoring junior staff
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and client management skills
  • A positive, growth-oriented attitude and a willingness to progress
