Role Responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of a portfolio of private clients, managing all aspects of their personal tax and financial compliance
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns, trust accounts, and other personal and estate-related filings
  • Providing high-quality tax planning advice in areas such as income tax, capital gains, and inheritance tax
  • Acting as the main point of contact for your clients, delivering clear, proactive advice and building strong relationships
  • Supporting more senior team members with technical queries and complex client matters
  • Supervising and guiding junior colleagues, helping them develop both technically and professionally
  • Identifying opportunities to add value, promote additional services, and support client retention

Candidate Requirements
  • CTA, ACA, ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Substantial experience in private client tax and general practice within a UK accountancy environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence when liaising with clients at all levels
  • Solid technical knowledge in personal tax, with the ability to deliver planning work
  • Able to balance multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain exceptional attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently but also happy collaborating with a close-knit team
