  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Financial Services with a focus on credit risk
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and Excel
  • Hands-on experience with credit bureau data and scoring techniques
  • Strong communicator who can simplify complex data for broad audiences
  • Highly analytical and adaptable in fast-paced environments
  • Experience with Salesforce or data visualisation tools
The finer elements of the role include:Develop and monitor both custom and bureau-based credit scorecardsBuild predictive models (e.g., Probability of Default) to improve credit decisionsLeverage credit bureau data (e.g., TransUnion, Experian) to enhance segmentation and risk strategiesConduct exploratory analysis and data cleaning to ensure data qualityLead A/B testing and controlled experiments to evaluate strategy effectivenessTranslate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholdersCherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
