Finance Manager
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid – 1 day per week in-office)
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + excellent benefits
A rapidly growing, PE-backed financial services business is looking for a commercially astute Finance Manager to join their high-performing team. This is a standout opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) to step into a dynamic role with real scope for progression and influence.
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll lead operational finance activity, support acquisition growth, and help shape the finance function during a period of significant expansion.

Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Producing accurate and timely management accounts
- Managing cash flow forecasting and reporting
- Leading month-end processes, including income reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliations
- Maintaining payroll, journal files, introducer schedules, and adviser bonus calculations
- Overseeing purchase ledger and collaborating with credit control to align reconciliations
- Driving VAT returns and supporting the audit process
- Assisting with IFRS 16 & 9 lease and interest accounting
- Supporting ongoing systems and process improvements
- Ensuring data integrity and security across financial systems
What You’ll Need
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Proven experience in a similar finance leadership role
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manipulate large data sets
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to explain and investigate variances
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial systems (Sage 200, Intacct/Oracle NetSuite, Xero, Concur)
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills
- A proactive mindset and strong problem-solving ability
