I am exclusively recruiting a Finance Manager for a rapidly scaling private care company whose mission is to attract, nurture and develop the best available care professionals such that they are able to provide superior care to all who need it. Specialising in 24-hour home, live-in and respite care services via a network of 18 branches across the country, they are private equity backed, acquisitive and bound by a set of core values that sets them apart from their competitors.
The role of Finance Manager has been created to support their expansion and, reporting to a particularly high-calibre CFO, the post holder will:
- Be responsible for all day-to-day finance covering, AP, AR, payroll, billing, credit control and management reporting.
- Lead, develop and motivate a team of up to 8 staff.
- Manage all day-to-day bookkeeping & accounting and support each branch with any queries they may have.
- Drive improvements across processes & systems; ensuring ways of working are both scalable and future-proof.
- Support budgeting & forecasting and M&A activity (including integration of new acquisitions).
- Present information to the CFO, CEO and liaise, where necessary, with the principal investors.
- Contribute to a wide range of finance and operational projects as the company continues to grow.
The successful candidate for the position of Finance Manager will:
- Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA).
- Have a strong grasp of operational finance issues and be keen to take a broad, hands-on role.
- Demonstrate a proactive, positive and forward-thinking attitude along with a strong attention to detail.
- Enjoy improving processes & controls and systems (experience in Sage 50 would be a slight advantage).
- Ideally have had some exposure to a health / social care or other muti-site or B2C business.
Salary: c. £65-£72k + benefits
