Head of Finance - 6 Month FTC - Nottingham - to £80k plus benefitsOur client, an established and growing retail business, is seeking a talented Head of Finance to take ownership of financial leadership across its product and sales operations. This is a high-impact role with responsibility for shaping financial strategy, improving performance, and supporting commercial growth initiatives across the business.The successful candidate will join a collaborative senior team and lead a dedicated finance function within a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.The RoleAs Head of Finance, you will:

Lead the financial planning cycle, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
Deliver clear financial insights to inform commercial and strategic decision-making
Collaborate with senior stakeholders on pricing, investment, and growth plans
Manage and develop a small team of finance professionals
Establish and maintain key performance indicators and reporting tools
Drive continuous improvement in reporting and financial processes
Support the evaluation and implementation of new business initiatives

About YouWe’re looking for someone who brings:

A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
Strong experience in finance, ideally within a retail or product-led business. Multi site experience will be an advantage.
Proven ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate it clearly
A proactive, strategic mindset and confidence working across departments
Experience managing and mentoring a finance team
Advanced Excel skills
