Our client is a leading player in the FMCG industry, based in Nottingham, known for its innovative approach and commitment to quality. They are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to take the lead finance role within this key manufacturing site and play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial strategy and performance.

As Head of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, providing strategic direction, and ensuring compliance with internal and external reporting requirements. This role is perfect for a qualified accountant with a strong background in FMCG or complex manufacturing environments, looking to take the next step in their career.Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop and maintain integrated systems and procedures for management and financial accounting.
  • Ensure timely preparation of weekly/monthly accounts and fulfil internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to senior management and the Board.
  • Manage site working capital, including inventory and fixed assets.
  • Lead and develop the Finance team, ensuring performance and skills meet changing requirements.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)) with a track record in a similar FMCG or complex manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in the organisation, control, and day-to-day running of large-scale, complex financial and management information systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present financial data in a meaningful and relevant format.
  • Commercially minded, with a passion for the food / FMCG industry and a track record of driving continuous improvement.

What's on offer:

£85,000 - £95,000 + benefits to include bonus

Nottingham based, on-site 5 days p/week.
