Role Responsibilities
  • Managing a portfolio of private clients and overseeing all aspects of their personal tax compliance and planning
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns, trust accounts, and other relevant filings, including estate-related work
  • Delivering expert tax advice in key areas such as income tax, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax
  • Acting as a key adviser and point of contact for clients, building trust and long-term relationships
  • Assisting senior team members on complex advisory projects and technical matters
  • Mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members, supporting their learning and development
  • Identifying opportunities to add value and grow the client offering, including additional services and planning strategies

Candidate Requirements
  • CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in private client tax within a UK accountancy practice
  • Excellent technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and planning
  • Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and build lasting relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working both independently and within a collaborative team
