We are looking for a dedicated and kind carer to join our team and support individuals in living fulfilling lives.Job Description:We are seeking a caring, compassionate, and reliable individual to join our team in Nottingham. This position involves supporting clients with a range of needs, including assistance with social skills development, physical disability support, mental health challenges, and mild learning disabilities. The role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others and has the skills to offer support in both social and practical environments.Key Responsibilities:-Assist with developing and improving social skills, including helping with shopping, attending appointments, and engaging in social clubs.-Provide support for physical disabilities, ensuring safety and mobility needs are met.-Offer emotional and mental health support to ensure the wellbeing of clients.-Assist with light household tasks, if needed, to help clients maintain independence.-Encourage and support clients to participate in activities that promote personal growth and social interaction.-Work with clients to develop and enhance their social networks and community participation.Requirements:-Previous experience in a care role or a related field is preferred, but not essential.-A compassionate and patient approach with a genuine desire to help others.-Good communication and interpersonal skills.-Ability to support clients with physical disabilities, mental health challenges, and mild learning disabilities.-Must have access to a car and a full driving license to assist clients with transport needs.-Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.-A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required.Hours:-4 hours per week.(hours to increase with more clients)-Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the client.Salary:Competitive pay rate based on experience.How to Apply:If you are passionate about supporting people to lead fulfilling and independent lives, please apply with your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and why you are interested in the position.
