We are seeking a Mechanical Sales Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong mechanical background and a passion for developing commercial relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities

  • Promote and sell mechanical and capital equipment solutions to a range of industrial clients

  • Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring their requirements are fully understood and met

  • Prepare and deliver technical quotations and proposals

  • Liaise closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure accurate project delivery

  • Travel to client sites across the UK as required

About You:
  • HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience

  • Proven track record in sales of technical or capital equipment or a strong mechanical engineering background with commercial ambition (specific training provided)

  • Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills

  • Commercially aware, proactive, and target-driven

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
