Salary: 30,000 - 38,000 per annum (plus commission and benefits)
We are seeking a Mechanical Sales Engineer to join a leading engineering company based in Nottinghamshire. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong mechanical background and a passion for developing commercial relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities
- Promote and sell mechanical and capital equipment solutions to a range of industrial clients
- Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring their requirements are fully understood and met
- Prepare and deliver technical quotations and proposals
- Liaise closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure accurate project delivery
- Travel to client sites across the UK as required
- HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven track record in sales of technical or capital equipment or a strong mechanical engineering background with commercial ambition (specific training provided)
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Commercially aware, proactive, and target-driven
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
