Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Mechanics Tutor to join our team. You will deliver hands-on learning in automotive mechanics, supporting students to build practical skills in the field. Your role will be to guide learners through key aspects of mechanics, from diagnostics and repair to maintenance, helping them gain confidence and qualifications in the trade.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach mechanics to students at varying levels, covering both theoretical and practical aspects.

Create engaging and interactive lessons, ensuring safety standards and best practices are followed.

Support students in achieving their qualifications and developing essential trade skills.

Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Foster a positive learning environment, promoting confidence and practical problem-solving.

Requirements:

Experience working in mechanics (automotive or similar industry).

A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards one.

Strong practical and technical knowledge in mechanics.

Patience, empathy, and an understanding of working with students who require additional support.

Enhanced DBS check (we can support the process if needed).
