We are currently seeking experienced No.1 / No.2 Printers to join our team in one of the best packaging facilities in the country

• 3 shift roles, Monday to Friday, 6 am - 1.30 pm / 1:30 pm - 9 pm & 9pm 6am (4 nights Monday - Thursday)
• 2 shift roles, Monday to Friday, 6 am - 1.30 pm / 1:30 pm - 9 pm
• Overtime available

The role -:

• Operating Komori 6/7 colour presses with in-line coaters
• Carry out the safe and efficient operation of B1 Lithographic Press, ensuring the highest quality standards and output volumes
• Ensure all Work Ticket instructions and job specifics are followed and the correct materials used
• Produce high-quality printed products and be accountable for your own work
• Liaise where necessary with internal departments to ensure jobs are produced correctly and on time
• Working as a team of 3 in all aspects of press make-ready, obtaining a colour & text pass, running within commercial tolerances.
• Follow the make-ready protocol procedure ensuring correct plates and materials are in position for the next job
• Assist and/or carry out routine maintenance of press as per manufacturers recommended guidelines to ensure safe and efficient machine operation

What we are looking for:

• Minimum 3 years of B1 Carton/Commercial Printing
• Experience with Komori GLX/LS40/LSX or similar Printing Press
• Must be a proven Lithographic Printer, fully conversant with all aspects of Carton/Commercial printing
• Able to understand and follow job specifications with a high attention to detail
• Understanding of Health and Safety requirements
