About the Role

Long Term Futures are partnering with a "Good" Ofsted-rated primary school in Nottingham to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant. This role is ideal for graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting, particularly those with a passion for SEN. You'll work closely with class teachers to support learning activities, create engaging classroom environments, and provide personalised assistance to pupils who require additional support. This role offers long-term stability and the opportunity to move into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist class teachers with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
  • Deliver focused support to pupils with special educational needs.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages pupil growth.
  • Track and communicate pupil progress to teaching staff and families.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Some experience working in schools or with children (voluntary or paid).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for helping children thrive socially and academically.
