SEN Teaching Assistant - Secondary School (NG5)
Location: NG5, Nottingham
Pay: 90 - 105 per day
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, long-term to permanent
A friendly and supportive secondary school in the NG5 area of Nottingham is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team in September 2025. This is a full-time role supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), working both 1:1 and in small groups.

What the role involves:
- Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) on a 1-1 basis and in small group sessions
- Helping pupils with their learning and adapting tasks to suit their needs
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff to track progress
- Creating a calm, positive space where students feel safe and encouraged
- Supporting behaviour in a consistent and caring way
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)
- A calm, understanding approach - especially when faced with challenging behaviour
- Those looking to secure a consistent position, on a long term to permanent basis
