Daily Rate: 90 - 105 per day
Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)
Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday | Term Time Only

Long Term Futures is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school located in the NG13 area of Nottinghamshire. This independent school caters to students aged 7-18, providing a woodland & farm setting, and a therapeutic approach to support.
This full-time position offers a stable and fulfilling route into long-term or permanent employment within an incredibly rewarding educational environment.
About the Role:
- Provide individualised 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
- Assist in implementing therapeutic approaches to support students' emotional well-being.
- Create a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
- Effectively manage challenging behaviours within the setting.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, particularly those with SEMH or similar needs.
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviours constructively.
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply)
