Senior Manufacturing Engineer Nottingham (South) - Commutable from Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, Nottingham, Grantham£50-65K plus car Allowance plus 10% bonus39 Hours Mon-Fri, site based roleAre you an experienced Senior Engineer/Engineering Team Leader or Engineering Supervisor from a machine shop/CNC manufacturing background looking for a superb opportunity with a global manufacturer?This newly created role offers job security, an excellent working environment and the opportunity for further training and progression. On top of the basic salary, earnings can be increased through car allowance and bonus. The site is clean, modern and comes with an onsite subsidised cafeteria and gym. The role will combine leading a team of 7 (Manufacturing Engineers, Automation Engineer, offline CNC Programmers) with hands on tasks involving strategic improvements projects. This is a large CNC machine shop working environment so my client is looking for candidates who can hit the ground running in this environment. The Role
- Full time permanent, site based position with a global manufacturing company
- Leading a team of 7 engineers
- Hands on project management of strategic improvements projects
The Person
- Engineering degree (essential)
- Working background in manufacturing, ideally a machine environment
- Practical knowledge of CNC Machinery
- Working/academic knowledge of lean manufacturing and improvement projects
