Mon-Fri , 39 hours, either 7-3.30 or 8-4.30

Are you a hands on mechanical fitter or technician looking for a days role, working with a large stable manufacturing company.

The company can offer clean modern working conditions with an onsite gym and subsidised restaurant on site.

The role would suit an experienced technician who perhaps wants to come off shift work or a field service person who wants a static role. Candidate from a facilities background or ex armed forces will also be considered.

The position will focus on planned maintenance and breakdown cover on both machinery and building fabric, working off a asset management system. The tasks will be mainly mechanically biased but some basic electrical work may also be involved. Machinery includes CNC machinery although the company do have service contracts to cover more specialist maintenance tasks.

The Role

1. Full time, permanent, static role, working Mon-Fri days, on a large manufacturing site.
2. Planned and reactive maintenance work on machinery and building fabric.
3. Use of power tools and working off a EAP (enterprise asset management) system

The Person

1. Working experience in a hands on mechanical position
2. Experience of maintenance procedures
3. Experience of hydraulics, pneumatic machinery
