Our Client is a long-established business providing insurance and financial services to corporate and private clients. Based in Nottingham, as an Insurance Broker, you will work with clients in the Midlands and throughout the UK.

Responsibilities of the Insurance Broker:

  • To broke new business enquiries and distressed existing cases including motor fleet.
  • To ensure the broking strategy is understood.
  • To be responsible for ensuring the business process is followed.
  • To be responsible for ensuring records are compliant.
  • To provide regular management information when requested.
  • To carry out all aspects of internal underwriting administration for new cases until handover.
  • Undertake specific projects as required.
  • Assisting Account Directors/Executives where required and Commercial Insurance Handlers. 
  • Comply with the Company rules, requirements and procedures.
  • Maintain competency as required by Wilson's.
  • Attend courses as directed.
  • Develop relationships with preferred insurers.

Qualifications of the Insurance Broker:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of FCA
  • Knowledge of Law of Agency, Data Protection Act and money laundering requirements.
  • Knowledge of the internal procedures as laid down in the compliance manual.
  • Knowledge of the company's T&C requirements
