Description
- Maintain and optimise mechanical and electrical systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Panama shifts (Days & Nights)
- Conduct regular diagnostics and troubleshoot technical issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all automation processes.
- Support the installation and commissioning of new automated equipment.
- Monitor system performance and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Provide technical support and training to team members as required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Profile
A successful Automation Technician should have:
- Proven experience in engineering and manufacturing environments, particularly with automated systems.
- Level 3 NVQ in an Engineering related field
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related discipline.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to system improvements.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Commitment to maintaining safety and operational standards.
