rhames Ltd are one of the UK's leading electro mechanical specialist within industries which require separation technology, manufacturing and associated new equipment. rhames operates from its centrally based headquarters in Nottingham and various other locations throughout the UK to provide our clients with turn-key design, project management & manufacturing/ maintenance services. Due to continual expansion, we have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer / technician, our premises is located in Nottingham, but we have positions available in Peterborough, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridge.
Main purpose:Maximising the operating efficiency of machinery including maintenance & installation at customer sites in the UK.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Your role may include, but will not be limited to:
- Mechanical installations for the process industry including maintenance of centrifuge, drum thickener & bell press maintenance
- Carrying out regular testing and maintenance of machinery
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Work with others and contribute to effective working relationships
- Resolve problems in a timely manner
Essential Experience of mechanical maintenance:
Desired - Confined Space
Desired Experience working with centrifuges
- Minimum or equivalent of 3 GCSE's
- Adaptable & flexible
- Problem solver
- Excellent organisational skills
- Highly motivated and a team player
