YT Technologies are delighted to announce our partnership with a highly-technological engineering company, who are operating in an exciting and rewarding industry and have been doing so for over 60 years.
The products illustrate engineering principles relating to aerodynamics, control engineering, process control, hydraulics and fluid mechanics, material testing and properties, structures, renewable energies, mechanics and dynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer, along with electrical power systems.
These products are used within educational and engineering practices globally.
For this role, they are looking for a Test Engineer to join the established test team. You must have a solid mechanical background and understanding, along with some basic electric principles too.
You will be covering a wide range of mechanical disciplines, from aerodynamics, fluids, engine testing, right down to simple sub-assembly checks and calibration.
The Role:
- Ensure safe testing of mechanical products and sub-assemblies in accordance with ISO9001
- Log all test data, for future reference and to enhance future processes
- Fault find where needed at component level
- Inspect bought in items to design specifications and accept/reject as necessary
- Assist with manufactured parts inspections as required
