Planned Works Surveyor

35,000 - 45,000 + 5000 car allowance

Approach Personnel are proud to be working alongside a reputable Property Services contractor to help recruit an experienced and driven Planned Works Surveyor to join their Nottingham based team. The purpose of the role is to visit live properties to assess the scope of reactive and planned maintenance work, feeding back to the internal team to cost and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate measurements, costings, and evaluations for painting and planned work tenders.
  • Oversee projects from initiation to completion, identifying opportunities to maximise profitability.
  • Deliver cost control, CVR reporting, and financial forecasting to support effective decision-making.
  • Manage subcontractor accounts and process applications for payment in line with contractual obligations.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a similar role from either a social housing or maintenance background
  • Proficiency in using bills of quantities, schedules of rates, and commercial management.
  • Proficient in producing reports for planned and reactive maintenance
  • Full UK Driving License
  • Relevant Industry Qualification such as HNC, HND, Diploma, Degree or equivalent.
