We are seeking a Housing Administrator to join a large housing association on a temporary basis until the end of December. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in social housing or local authority administration. The successful candidate will support a range of administrative duties.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Handle a variety of administrative tasks, effectively dividing your time between the Grants and Contracts team and the Programme Delivery team.
  • Use case management systems to maintain and update records accurately.
  • Coordinate and organise activities and schedules to ensure smooth operations across both teams.
  • Occasionally handle phone communications, providing polite and effective customer service.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office tools for data management and document preparation.
  • Conduct research as needed to support team functions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven administrative experience, within social housing or a local authority setting.
  • Proficient in using case management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.
  • Good communication skills, comfortable with occasional phone duties.
  • Research skills are desirable.
  • Experience with Canva is a plus but not essential.
